Jack Parker

Jack Neil Parker at the age of 85 passed on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at his home in Sun Valley Nevada.

A loving Father, Grand Father, Great Grand Father, Husband and Friend.  He leaves two daughters: Andrena Arreygue and husband Armando of Sun Valley, Nevada, Fongela Cannon and her husband Josh of Atlanta, Georgia.   Five Grandchildren: Aimee’, Tony and Joey Arreygue and Parker and Olivia Cannon. Two Great Grandchildren: Ava and Atreus.  Brother: Morris Parker of Los Angeles, California, Sister: Judy Crain of Las Vegas, Nevada and a favorite uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Born in Bivins, Texas to Morris Luther Parker and Fongela Porterfield.  At a young age, moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon and after graduating from Henley High School, he proudly entered and served in the United States Air Force.

After his military service, he settled in Reno, Nevada where he worked as a painter for most of his life.  Reno is where he met and married the love of his life Veronica “Roni” Sturgeon.   Reno is where they lived happily for over 40 years, raising their family, and enjoying spending time with friends.
