On November 14th, 2020 Jeffrey C Tequillo lost his battle with COVID19 and the flu.
He was 62 years old.
Jeff grew up in Los Angeles, moved to North Tahoe as a teenager then to Reno as a young adult.
He was a diehard Dodgers fan as well as the Rams and Lakers. He would tell you he bled blue and kept a special Dodgers coin in his wallet. He would only show it to true Dodgers fans to let them hold it. He was absolutely ecstatic when they won the World Series this year.
He was an avid golfer and loved being out on the greens. Every year he excitedly looked forward to some special golf tournaments like the Kook, Doc Holliday's, and Tiger Tom's. In fact, this past summer he finally shot a perfect round. He was so overjoyed and amazed that he was moved to tears mixed with laughter.
He also loved camping and fishing. There were years and years of awesome trips with cherished friends.
He was extremely social and loved having BBQ and Football Parties. He was a wonderful cook, and quite the entertainer both at home and work.
With an enormous heart and great charisma he touched so many lives. There was never anyone so loyal as he was to the ones he loved.
He was a loving husband, devoted Dad, awesome Papa and a true-blue friend to many.
He will be missed forever and is survived by:
Wife, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 1 brother, 3 sisters, father, many, many friends and a Golden Retriever.
