Micheal Bruce Duncan was born on August 17, 1949 to George Duncan and Leona Dubay in Nevada City, California. He attended school in Sacramento and graduated from Grant Union High School in 1967. He joined the Marine Corps in 1968, where he served in Okinawa, Japan.
Upon his return from Okinawa and the completion of his military term, he married the love of his life, Linda Orr on October 3, 1970. The two made their home in Sacramento before relocating to Soulsbyville, CA in 1975, where they raised their two children. Micheal loved to spend his time with friends and family camping, hiking in Yosemite, playing his guitar, and playing softball. When his children were raised, he returned to college at Columbia Junior College and received his degree in Business. Upon starting his second career, Micheal and Linda moved back to their hometown of Sacramento and then eventually to Round Rock, Texas, where Micheal retired to spend his days with his wife. Although retired, it didn’t slow him down as he continued to create and build things, and remodel their home. In 2012, the couple moved to Reno, Nevada, where Micheal spent the rest of his days. He peacefully departed this life on December 31, 2024 with his family at his side.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Duncan, son, Brian Duncan of Carson City, daughter, Keri Brewster, and grandchildren, Jackson and Justice Brewster, all of Sparks, his brother, Robert Duncan of Sacramento, and sister, Christine Duncan of Salem, Oregon.
Micheal will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, brother, dad, grandfather, uncle, nephew and cousin to all who loved him.
