Patricia Jane Cook

Patricia Jane Cook, known affectionately as Pat, passed away on June 23, 2024, in Reno Nevada at the age of 78. Born on November 23, 1945, in Portage, Wisconsin, she was a cherished daughter of the late Robert L. and Arleen M. Cook.

Pat pursued a vigorous educational path, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin/Stout in Menomonee, Wisconsin, and a Master of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She dedicated her career to nutrition and dietetics, initially serving as dietitian at Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before continuing her profession with the State of Nevada.

She is survived by her son, Michael Sieczkowski; siblings Linda (James) Schroeder, Carole (Mark) Russ, Robert (Bernice) Cook, and William (Michele) Cook, as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her son, Robert Sieczkowski, and her sister, Christine Cook.

The service will be held in the chapel at Mother of Sorrows Cemetery on July 29th, at 11:00 A.M. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Truckee Meadows Cremation and Burial in Reno, Nevada.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Pat may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the local food bank, honoring her compassionate spirit and lifelong dedication to helping others. Pat's legacy of kindness and professionalism will be remembered by all who knew her.
