Steven Nawman

Steve Nawman, a long time Reno resident, passed away Wednesday August 11, 2021, at the age of 67.  He was proceeded in death by his Father and Mother, Earl and Bonnie Nawman; Sister Cathy Banks; and wife of 30 years Terry Nawman.  He was amazing father to his 4 daughters, Cristina, Stephanie, Jody and Jamie. Grandpa to Kaiden and Bayley; Father in-law to Fabian, Drew, and Brandon; Brother to Dan and Cindy and an uncle.  As well as second adopted dad to many of his daughter’s friends!

Steve owned his own electrical business, was a proud Marine Vet, and a jack of all trades! But most importantly he was a family man.  Family dinners were a must.  Around the dinner table we would talk about life, listen to music, tell jokes, and have countless moments of uncontrollable laughter.  He took the time with each of his daughters to teach them how to be independent and to enjoy the important things in life! No matter how difficult life got for him, his moto was always “Life’s good!”

Steve left us all being better people. He was our favorite asshole, and when he left, he took a piece of our hearts with him! Without him the world is a little more broken. If he can't fix it no one can! He was our pa MacGyver! He will be missed every day! We love you!

Services will be held Friday September 3rd @ 2:30pm at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery Pavilion in Fernley, NV.  Celebration of life to follow @ 4:30pm at 5865 Sonora Pass Dr. Sparks, NV 89436.
