Theodore Mitchell Miller

Ted was born in Concord, Calif. June 29,1961. He was raised in Concord and moved to Sparks in the mid 80’s where he worked in residential and commercial construction for 38 yrs. 

Ted was proceeded in death by his daughter Nicole and survived by his sister Janet Tysdale; two brothers, Jeff and Robert Miller; cousin, Susan Hanson; and many nieces and nephews. Ted was very close to his mother Theo, who also lived in Sparks until she passed away three years ago.

Ted was a skilled craftsman and worked as lead carpenter on many projects in the Reno area including Greater Nevada Field in downtown Reno.  Ted was also an accomplished HVAC Technician and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union as well as the Carpenters Union. Ted loved to ride his Harley, one of his favorite

rides was to Twin Lakes near Bridgeport.

Ted was a very generous person and had many friends in all walks of life. He never hesitated to help a friend in need.  It seemed like wherever we went around Reno or Sparks we would meet a friend of Ted’s. He will be missed by many.
