Virgil Lee Hughes

Virgil was born November 6, 1940 in Marchfield, MO and passed away on December 16, 2019 of cancer. Relocated to the Reno area 32 years ago and worked as a copier tech at Nevada Office Machines.

He was preceeded in death by his parents Zelpha Wrinkles & Charles Hughes, and his biological father Clyde Myers. He was raised in Twin Falls, ID by his father's sister. After searching for many years he was able to reconnect with his 10 long lost siblings.

Survived by his wife of 60 years Dorothy Jean, sons John C. Hughes of Sun Valley; Chris (Peggy) of Neatsu, OR; Robert (Dawn) of Esteros, FL; and daughter Kerri Letendre of Kimberly, ID. Cousins Carole Gough, Ron Massie-Betty of Twin Falls, ID. Grandchildren John C Hughes, Jamie Ramos, Aaron Letendre, and Jessica Thompson. Step Granddaughters Candice & Katie, and 11 great grandchildren.

After returning Virgil & son John enjoyed camping, fishing, restoring a 1948 Plymouth, going to car shows, and restoring a boat 'The Deplorable". Ide was a great husband, father and fed many stray cats. No services are planned.
