Virginia Pauline Mcguire

Virginia went home to our lord on 6/13/2020. She passed away in her home in Reno.

Virginia is grieved by her beloved husband Dennis McGuire, her brother Rudy Nelson, her sons Cory Bjostad and Brady Delsol, their wives Nancy Bjostad and Katie Delsol, and by her grandchildren Maya and Leah Bjostad and Julia, Andrew and Alyssa Delsol.

Virginia and Dennis were married for thirty-seven years. Virginia was an accomplished journeyman butcher. Virginia took classes and became a medical assistant and enjoyed a successful career. Virginia was a deacon at Redwoods Presbyterian Church, in Larkspur California. She went on to take and complete seminary training for counseling. Virginia was also a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Elko, Nevada. While living in Elko, Virginia was elected to the presidency of the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary for the state of Nevada. She served a one year term. Virginia had a green thumb, and she left me with both a front and backyard full of beautiful plants and flowers. She was the love of my life. Dennis McGuire.
