In Loving Memory of Wendie Ann Coleman 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendie Ann Coleman, age 55, who departed this world on November 17, 2024. A woman of immense kindness, unyielding generosity, and a spirit that lit up every room, Wendie was truly the life of the party and the glue that held her loved ones together. Her vibrant personality and contagious laughter were a beacon of joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Born on June 6, Wendie grew up in California but moved to Reno over 30 years ago, where she built a life rooted in love, friendship, and community. She spent her days spreading joy and compassion, whether through her quick wit that could brighten the darkest moments or the endless support she offered to anyone in need. Her big heart touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. 

Wendie had a special gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved. She had a way of turning ordinary moments into cherished memories, always putting others before herself. In her passing, Wendie gave one final gift as an organ donor, a testament to her selflessness and unwavering commitment to helping others. Her legacy of love and generosity will live on not only in the hearts of those who knew her but also in the 3 lives she has saved. 

She is survived by her spouse Margo Larson, girlfriend Lisa Aramini, big sister from another mother Sonjah Raxey, father Michael Rees, brother Scott Hawkins, sons Jared and Jordan(Nina) Coleman and her granddaughter Haley Coleman, as well as countless friends anf family who will forever cherish her memory. 

A celebration of her remarkable life will take place on January 11, 2025, at Rum Sugar Lime in the Nautilus Room from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be an opportunity for all who loved her to come together, share stories, and honor the incredible woman she was. 

Though she is no longer with us, Wendie's laughter, love, and warmth will forever remain in our hearts. Her impact on this world is immeasurable, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Rest in peace, dear Wendie. You will always be remembered with love, gratitude, and admiration.
