Bill, William Paul Wienholz, passed away on April 4, 2024 at Renown in Reno with his family present. He had a way of making each person feel valued. He cared about the lonely ones, especially children, and was there for his loved ones and strangers when nobody else was.Born December 2, 1951 in Bremerton, Washington to Billie Jean Wienholz and later adopted by his dad Raymond C. Wienholz, he spent his childhood growing up in Washoe Valley. His career as a dental technician and dental lab owner lasted until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, nature, and creating art among his many hobbies.
He is survived by his children April Wienholz Sovey, Terra and Tasha Parton, and Sara Elias as well as his grandchildren Keara Sovey, Thomas Parton, Daniel Parton, Aiden Parton, Phoenix Elias and Mila Elias. He was preceded in death by his mother Billie Jean, father Raymond Wienholz, and his son Daniel Paul. A gathering will be held in his honor at 1:30pm on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Las Brisas Park, Reno, NV 89523. Please bring a dish to pass and memories to share. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite children's charity in his honor. Some of Bill's favorites were Shirners, St. Judes, and March of Dimes.
